Samsung epix (i907) GPS via USB on a laptop

Here is how I share the GPS built into my Samsung epix i907 with my laptop.

First, most of the instructions are from this page.  This is currently made possible by GPS2Blue software, and the HW VSP software from this page.

Following the instructions from GPS2Blue, you install the software on the epix and run there.  Then install and run HW VSP on the PC, configure so they basically look like this:

Then to check, you can run GPS Port Checker:

Then, run your GPS apps against this new com port!
