Digital Maps Updated!

I have completed updating my digital maps page.  I revamped the pages a bit, and consolidated them into a single page now.  I also removed the individual file links and one huge file links.  The main 24K DRG’s are now only available as 650MB chunks which seem to be the best size for consistent uploading.  I have verified that all the files are consistent with what I currently have (though there are a couple of files that need replacement).  The status currently uploaded are:

Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming (and a few maps of Mexico)

Next on the list are Texas, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and more Mexico.  Additionally, I am going to create some other reference maps.  I have also been working on GIS layers specifically trying to create a nice Land Ownership layer to show public/private lands.

I just downloaded several file for WY 24k drgs. the filenames are like 24k.7z.001 thru .007. I cannot extract the contents with 7-zip or winzip or any program I have. 7-zip says it cannot open the file as archive. I’ve tried copying the files to a simple directory (C:\Temp) but to no avail. Winzip does not recognize them as archives. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Try using 7zip to open the .001 file, that should open the entire archive. Each of the components however (.001, .002 etc) will need to be available to 7zip for it to open the entire archive. Ping me back if you are still having issues.
