Casio G-SHOCK Mudman

I really like my Atomic clock updating, solar powered G-SHOCK.  The only annoying thing was the strap holder, you know the little band that holds the remaining strap (the part that sticks out past the buckle), wasn’t really doing its job well.  The issue is the strap holder was too loose, and so keeps sliding up and letting the end of the strap flap about, which gets really annoying.

I decided to fix it, and it seems like such a simple fix I figured I would post it in case it may help anyone out.

Basically, I got a bit of lanyard that fits (barely) through the buckle holes.  I chose the last two sets of holes and threaded the lanyard through the holes, and melted the ends of the lanyard to keep it from pulling out.  Not knots required.  It works GREAT, a nice simple cheap solution to a loose band holder for my wonderful Casio.
