Recently, tried of individually posting link backs to my blog on individual social bookmark pages like Facebook, twitter, technorati etc, I started looking for a way of doing a push en masse to all the sites I use. First, I tried using the service by “Share This” whose plugin I had been using for WordPress, however it didn’t offer what I was looking for, only the ability to consolidate my bookmarks. I did some more searching, and though many web pages were offering book mark consolidation, very few were offering (free) posting consolidation. Then, I stumbled upon (pun intended) OnlyWire which works GREAT! I can create a single page of entry for all the places I post to, and from one button click, post out updates to any of my subscribed social bookmark services.
This also gives my readership the same exact ability — if you like my article, and want to share it with your friends on twitter, furl, facebook or myspace (all or any) you can with the simple click of a button — forget all that logging into separate pages like some of the other services demand.
The best part is it’s FREE (if you post a small link on your webpage), but it save an incredible amount of time if you use social bookmarking as a part of your website marketing.
