Found this GREAT page maintained by Kevin Savetz HERE. It maintains a current list of vendors that allow free faxing via email along with other services (and some for cost sites). The wonderful thing is that the site is actively maintained so you need not worry about all those dead links…
I used to use MyFax but I paid $10/month and only faxed infrequently. Now, on the occasion when I need to fax, I use FaxZero to send my fax, and the page number exceeds the free version, I simply pay per fax. Its a lot cheaper, and in most cases ends up being free.
THIS page also mentions something called “The Phone Company” or TPC for short which seems like a great idea, except they except sometimes they don’t have coverage where you need to fax. However, if they have coverage, its a very nice service. I haven’t gotten a valid test yet even though I have tried a couple time, both with and without attachments.
