Questions BEFORE you buy

I recently experienced Off-Road Internationals purchase process for buying an off-road trailer.  I figured it would be very helpful for towing behind our Jeep Wragner [ TJ ] and our Toyota FJ Cruiser.  Here are some of the salient points of the process, and once its delivered, an evaluation of the trailer itself.

This is a photo of the trailer while still at Off-Road International’s manufacturing facility.  I sure hope that the ownership process is the opposite of the purchasing process!

I originally ordered my trailer in Feburary 2008.  Delivery is expected now around September 11, 2008 (yep, thats about 7 MONTHS later) [FINALLY DELIVERED - see posts for more info].

Don’t bother asking for dates, they will refuse to give any indication of when the trailer may be ready, you will just have to sit tight and count your blessings they allow YOU to purchase one of these trailers.  I have to say that Off-Road International has the absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced.  They are downright antagonistic.  They won’t give you date, don’t give any refunds, and will simply ignore you regardless of the issue, unless its time for you to pay them.
